No doubt that ELLA is the most wanted and most popular artist in Latvia of the new generation following David Guetta and Bob Sinclair’s steps. At the local scene there is no one else like her. Sexy, smart and professional at the same time, she has a hard working attitude and the right sense of style.

Ella’s career started when she was 14 when she got to the final of international young performers competition “ Fizz Superstar” where she was the youngest entrant to perform. The first person to notice that she was someone to watch out for was the legendary UK producer and manager Mel Bush (Vanessa Mae, David Essex, Wild and many more). He offered her a career in the UK and that was the time when he was working on his new project known as Bond. But as Ella was just 14 years old and a young lady, she rejected his offer to join Bond to try and make it on her own.

At 16 Ella wrote her first song, recorded it and got signed to Microphone Records. In 2006 the debut album “To Reach Your Dream” was released. She wrote most of the songs herself. At the same time she began DJ’ing as well.

In 2008 her new album “Welcome To The Club” was released and she got her first international success. Singles from this album were released across the Europe on labels like Virgin France, Deutsche Dance Records (Germany), ToCo International, TMC Nordic, Typhoon Records (Asia) as well as Positiva Records UK. Ella’s album won a Latvian Music Award in category of “ Best Dance Album Of The Year”. Her hit single “ DJ Take Me “ was the first Latvian song ever reached the French Club Chart Top 40. In September 2009 her single “ Shine Like A Superstar” became the first Latvian artist recording ever released on legendary UK Dance label Positiva Records and on Next Plateau Records in the U.S.  She was also nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award as one of the Best Baltic Acts.

Ella’s success story is rising and is breaking more and more borders. Not many Latvian artists have ever been released around the world and played on international radio, but Ella is making history.
