In the game of Dominoes, “Capicu” (pronounced Ca pee coo) means the game is closed…It means it’s OVER…

Exploding from the dark street corners of The Bronx like a barrage of sonic bullets, Capicu is what the industry has been waiting for: A powerhouse Latin artist who can spit for the ‘hood and the radio. With a smooth, versatile flow, Capicu’s ultimate appeal lies in his ability to seamlessly switch between English and Spanish. Years spent living in Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, and each of the five boroughs of New York City contributes to his lyrical versatility, which sets Capicu apart from other emcees in his genre. Like Bacardi and Coke, he mixes the best of both worlds and leaves you thirsty for more.

A child surrounded by guns, drugs and violence, Capicu was already composing rhymes at the age of nine, and by the age of eleven, he was performing in front of live audiences. Unfortunately, the call of the street was too strong, and Capicu ended up honing his skills while hustling on the corner. After seeing many friends locked up or expired, Capicu decided to turn his life in another direction, and started dropping his mixtapes from The Bronx to Washington Heights to Bushwick and beyond. People were not just listening; they were feelin’ his unique style. Before he knew what happened, Capicu was blowin’ away audiences at clubs and festivals, including opening for prolific acts such as Nina Sky, Zion y Lenox and Tony Touch.

While many emcees can spit in either English or Spanish, few can lyrically alternate between the two. Capicu pulls it off effortlessly and with audacious precision. This provides the perfect musical style that will appeal to the American mainstream, as well as national, and international niche markets. Capicu embodies a brash, streetwise sensibility coupled with a fiery aural talent that will appeal to Spanish and English speaking fans alike.

He is the missing link between Reggaeton, Latin Hip-Hop, and Hip-Hop.

Capicu...it’s over…se acabó.
