Eddie O'Loughlin

Eddie O'Loughlin is the President of Next Plateau Entertainment and co founded the successful independent company Midland Records International.  O’Loughlin has a reputation for being a "hands on" music executive and International stars and Grammy winners discovered by him include Silver Convention, Carol Douglas, John Travolta, Jenny Burton, Sharon Brown, Salt-n-Pepa, Paperboy, Sybil, Sweet Sensation, KWS, Boy Krazy, Nina Sky, Patrizio, ring tone star The Crazy Frog, Madcon and others who have garnered over 40 Gold and Platinum certifications.  Currently O’Loughlin has forged a marketing and distribution deal with Universal/Republic Records in NY for Next Plateau artists.  He is a member of ASCAP, a voting member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy organization NARAS.
 


Jennifer Kennedy

Jennifer Kennedy is the General Manager of Next Plateau. Her professional career in the record business began in the musical melting pot of Miami, Florida where Jennifer earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Miami. During this time she worked for seminal Miami independent label Pandisc Music / Streetbeat Records before relocating to New York where she worked in A&R for the groundbreaking hip hop label Tommy Boy Records. At Tommy Boy she met then head of A&R Eddie O’Loughlin and in 2002 they joined up to relaunch the Next Plateau label.

At Next Plateau, Jennifer oversees the Business Affairs of both the record label and music publishing company and manages all operations of these companies at the demanding fast pace of an independent company today. In addition, she is involved firsthand in all of Next Plateau’s A&R, including new artist signings, music selection and album production.
